Johannes Blattner
GermanyJohannes Blattner is a German dancer, choreographer, and teacher with a diverse background in stage dance. He trained at the Freiburger Akademie für Tanz and furthered his education in New York. Johannes has worked with several theaters, including a notable four-year tenure at the Ballet Theater Pforzheim, where his company received the Audience Award in 2019. He also participates in independent projects like Instant PIG, DieTanzKompanie, and Bo Komplex. Johannes co-founded the interdisciplinary group multipluralwesen, blending dance with other artistic disciplines. His choreography often explores themes of humanity and connection. Recently, he developed "HERZrasen," a dance production focused on love, belonging, and diversity, performed in 2025 with a mix of urban and contemporary dance styles. Johannes is an active teacher at institutions in Germany and beyond, sharing his passion and expertise widely.
