
Kenichi Kasamatsu
Kenichi Kasamatsu is a New York City-based professional dancer, choreographer, and instructor known for his highly technical and creative choreography that blends hip hop, popping, house, and contemporary dance styles. Originally from Bangkok, Thailand, he started dancing at age 10 and later founded Studio Zoom in Bangkok before moving to New York at age 20 to pursue his dance career. Kasamatsu has performed for major artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo, Daddy Yankee, and Mark Ronson. He also teaches regularly at top dance centers like Peridance Capezio Center and Broadway Dance Center, leads his own troupe called akompany, and creates innovative full-length dance shows. His work is praised for its intricate patterns, emotional resonance, and community-building approach to dance education.
